昨天阿梗給我聽的歌，被這首歌對父親傳達深深的思念和感情所感動。
Luther Vandross被稱為是80年代R&B音樂三巨頭之一，另外兩位是Stevie Wonder和Michael Jackson。
這首歌內容描寫Luther Vandross的真實故事，卻沒想到在2003年專輯完成後，Luther卻中風昏迷長達半年。
在2005年7月1日因為中風所引起的併發症辭世，享年54歲。

歌詞提到如果能和父親再度共舞，他希望能放一首永遠不會結束的曲子，描寫對父親真切的思念。句中向上帝祈禱將母親深愛的男人帶回來，對不可能實現的願望如此殷切的期盼。我因為他的歌聲，想起了父母親有天也會離開我們，開始感到害怕。現在不管如何都要好好珍惜在世界上的一切。
